TUST PRE Base Setup with Famous Distillery

31st, March witnessed the agreement signing on a base of production, research and education between TUST and China Foods Limited Beishan Distillery, at Ningde city, Fujian province to further explore the research strength of TUST in red yeast rice wine, red yeast vinegar and yeast development. Dean and Prof. Wang Min of bio-engineering joined the event with local government officials and the leaders of Fujian Provincial Distillery Association.  

The School of Bio-engineering of TUST has a national discipline in fermentation with a good team of researchers and graduate students. The school will utilize the local advantageous development of golden glutenous rice and red yeast to seek new dimensions in improving fermentation technology, new product development and professional personnel cultivation.

This is the third PRE base that the school has established with enterprises.
