President Han Jinyu Met with Guests of Massey University

  On April 12, President Han Jinyu and Vice President Lu Fuping met with Dr. Chris Moore of Massey University in Hexi Campus.

  President Han first extended warm welcome and made a brief introduction of TUST to the visiting guests. Han Jinyu pointed out that in recent years,TUST has attached great importance to exchanges with foreign universities, actively promoting such programs as faculty training, students exchanges, joint scientific research, and so forth. In regard to developing the programs of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education, Han emphasized that, on the basis of currently running programs in the specialties of Fermentation Engineering, Financial Management and Computer Science, TUST would pursue a cooperation of higher level by actively promoting the programs of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education on Master and PhD candidates in the future.
  Chris Moore thanked TUST for the warm reception, and showed Massey University on its advanced disciplines, joint education with other universities on Phd candidates, online teaching programs, etc. Chris Moore said, Massey University, as the largest University of New Zealand, has actively cooperated with Chinese universities, yielding fruitful achievements. The visit to TUST is aimed at searching for the opportunities of cooperation with TUST in the aspects of faculties and students joint training, united scientific research and so on.
  Then, both sides exchanged in-depth views in regard to the details of above-mentioned topics and reached a consensus on cooperation intentions.
