TUST Joins China_ASEAN Workshop

  China-ASEAN on Marine and Aquatic Technology was held in eastern China’s Qingdao city from 12th to 13th April and the workshop also marked the commencement of China-ASEAN Network on aquatic culture. Prof. Sui Liying, from the School of Marine science and Environmental Engineering, participated in the convention as the head of Asian Artemia Reference Center, and worked with scholars from Malasia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. to seek scientific collaboration and high-level personnel development in the theme of “development, cooperation, sharing”.

  The network is mainly sponsored by China to promote technical collaboration with ASEAN nations in aquatic culture. The TUST-based FAO Artemia Asian reference center will be providing sustainable aquatic culture international seminar to prominent young researchers and Postdocs from ASEAN nations.
