The Awarding Ceremony at TUST

   On 12th May, 2017, the Awarding Ceremony of 2016 contest of Innovation on Popularization of Food Safety was held in TUST, with President Han Jinyu delivering a speech.

  The representatives from government agencies, industrial associations, the media, universities and enterprises attended the event. During the ceremony, the participants exchanged views on the achievements of innovative ways of popularization of food safety, and discussed strategies and methods of college students taking part in the creation and dissemination of public beneficial works with the New Media.

  Reportedly, the contest was hosted by Department of Media and Publicity of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), and co-organized by China National Food Industry Association (CNFIA) and Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST). With the college students as the majority of participants, the contest attracted more than 300 organizations and individuals to join in the competition. At last, 86 pieces of works were shortlisted for the Award, 87% of which were created by the students.
