Han Jinyu Meets with VC of US

  On 27th, May, President Han Jinyu met in Beijing with Professor G Q Max Lu, the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Surrey (US), who was in China for the attendance at a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of University of Surrey.
  Han Jinyu first extended warm congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the university. Han pointed out that since officially renamed, the university of Surrey has made remarkable progress in teaching, academic and scientific research. For the moment, many disciplines of the university, including Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, and so on ranked top. Han hoped two universities would conduct muti-layered cooperation in faculty and students exchange, joint scientific research, and united education.
  Professor G Q Max Lu expressed his gratitude for President Han Jinyu’s attendance at the celebration event. He added that the University of Surrey had attached great importance to the cooperation with China’s universities, which was the reason why the last leg of the one-year celebration was placed in China. He continued that he paid high attention to the progress that had been made by TUST in teaching and scientific research, and stood ready to work together with TUST in shared advantage subjects of the two universities.
  Both sides also exchanged views on details of the topics discussed above.
