Overseas Scholars Participates in Planting

  In order to implement the spirit of 19^th National People's Congress and improve the environment for talents introduction to attract more overseas talents participating in the building of “Beautiful Tianjin”, some delegates of the Overseas Scholars Federation of Tianjin University of Science and Technology attended the collective volunteer planting activity - 2018 “Friendship forest of overseas talents”. That was jointly organized by Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Tianjin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Tianjin Greening Committee, Dongli District Talent Management and Dongli Yiyuan natural lake ecological park.

 
   On the morning of 27^th March, all delegates had arrived Dongli Yiyuan natural lake ecological park before 8:30, and then received on-site training about the planting essentials and considerations. By noon, all attended leaders and oversea talents had planted thousands of trees. Although being covered with mud, all the people competed to take photos with their planted seedlings with satisfied smiles on their faces.

  The collective volunteer planting activity of “Tianjin friendship forest of overseas talents” was sponsored by Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and other organizations in 2009. These intended to attract returned overseas scholars, overseas Chinese and international friends participating in the building of “Beautiful Tianjin” and bring the idea of green, environmental friendly, and healthy.

  The development and construction of “Foreign forest” have became a witness of joining hands with overseas high-level talents to cooperatively build and share the beauty and green Tianjin.
