TUST Students Achieved 3rd Prize from ECMT

Congratulations to students from College of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, YIN Zhaohui, HONG Changzheng, TANG Kui supervised by Professor YIN Zhen and Mr. WANG Songbo, who received the 3rd prize, and WANG Xinping supervised by Mr. ZHANG Hang, who received excellent award, from the 1st Electrochemical Measurement Technology Contest for College Students of China (hereafter ECMT) organized by China Education Association of Chemical Industry and Harbin Institute of Technology. The online awarding ceremony was held on July 9. Mr. YIN Zhen and Mr. WANG Songbo were awarded excellent supervisors. TUST was awarded excellent organizer.

ECMT, in accordance with China’s innovation driven development strategy, is a national contest aiming at promoting national A level bachelor degree programs, improving new engineering disciplines and strengthening the integration between industry and professional practice. More than 1700 students from 690 teams from 118 universities or institutes participated this year’s ECMT, which started from January. The contest, which was conducted in written examinations and practice tests, was divided into two parts: the preliminary and the final. 26 teams went to the final. Two of the twenty six were from TUST. The final lasted from May 10 to May 31. One team was the winner, three teams received 2nd prize, six teams 3rd prize, 16 teams excellent award.
