Wang Chang Won Japanese Award

  Wang Chang, a professor of Marine Science and Environment, TUST, addressed the 51 annual meeting of Japan Association of Aquatic Environment (JAAE) on the topic of “Model of Sewage Disposal in Rural China” and won a special award for international communication.

  JAAE is a professional committee committed to aquatic research on  Pollution-solution, water quality review and environmental protection. The annual conference attracted over 1500 attendees, and only 3 people won the special award.

  Prof. Wang Chang has engaged in the research and development in sewage disposal in the rural areas for 14 years and successfully solved the problems of scum and sludge with a distinctive effect of energy conservation and emission deduction. His research has been well-recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Tianjin Municipal government and his model of sewage disposal has been applied to the domestic sewage in the rural area of Jizhou district in Tianjin.
